The Central Islip High School Science Summer Research Institute spent Friday morning at David Weld Sanctuary in St. James exploring different organisms and select different topics of research for presentations next week.
Several Central Islip High School students participating in the Long Island Latino Teachers Association (LILTA) Summer Institute visited Stony Brook University this afternoon, where they took part in a mini-clinic with the Seawolves women's volleyball team.
Congratulations to high school students Mauricio Perla, Camila Barzola, Leah Serrano, Andrea Ramirez and Hailie Rivera, who participated in the Molloy Teaching Summer Academy. Through engaging workshops, hands-on activities and inspiring speakers, they explored the field of education and gained valuable insight into future careers in teaching.
Central Islip High School celebrated its newest graduating class on Friday, June 26, at the Suffolk Federal Credit Union Arena on the campus of Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood.
